About this song

Come and join Miss Rosie's class and sing the alphabet from A to Z! In this bright, gentle sing-along the whole class takes a turn in the spotlight, and Co-Co the parrot flies in to join the chorus. The letters appear one at a time, big and clear, with colourful words on screen so children can see, hear and say each letter together.

The ABC Class Song was made with a calm, steady pace, friendly colours and large captions, so it works just as well for a quiet one-to-one moment as it does for a whole class singing along on the big screen.

Made with every child in mind

Miss Rosie's class looks like a real classroom. Among the children singing the alphabet are friends who use a wheelchair, a friend with two prosthetic legs, a friend with Down syndrome and a friend who wears ear defenders — right alongside everyone else, each with their own moment to shine.

We made this song because every child deserves to see themselves on screen. When children spot a classmate who moves, looks or plays the way they do, singing the ABCs becomes something they belong to. That is the heart of this video: the same letters, the same song, every child included.

Great for classrooms, therapy time and home

Teachers, support workers and families have told us how much a simple, predictable song helps at group time. Here are a few ways to use it:

  • Play it on the classroom TV or smartboard for whole-class alphabet time and morning circle.
  • Use it in a sensory corner or quiet space — the calm pacing and soft colours are easy on the senses.
  • Pause on each letter to practise the sound, trace the shape in the air, or find it on an alphabet chart.
  • Share the link with families so children can sing the same song at home and at their centre.
